That’s the word from parties directly involved in the maintenance and operation of the 30-year-old wood-and-concrete structure overlooking the Taunton River — located at 1 Central St. near the entrance to the Battleship Cove war memorial and maritime, naval-vessel museum.
Last week a photo of a blown-out window in one of the pavilion’s three spires appeared on a local Facebook page wherein it was also surmised that rainwater at some point could gush in.
“We boarded it up instantly,” upon learning of the missing window, said Mitch Mauricio.
